Clipset was built with a simple philosophy: what happens on your Mac, stays on your Mac.

No Cloud. No Tracking.

We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on any external servers. Your clipboard history is processed entirely within the app's local memory.

Data Storage

Clipset retains only the last four items you copy to your system clipboard. These items are stored locally in your computer's RAM and are cleared every time you quit the application.

No data is saved to permanent storage (SSD/HDD).
No data is synced via iCloud or any third-party service.
Encryption is handled natively by your operating system.

Data Collection & Analytics

We believe in absolute transparency. Clipset does not include any analytics libraries, tracking pixels, or telemetry of any kind. We have zero visibility into:

What you copy or paste.
How often you use the application.
Your device information or identity.

Permissions

To function correctly, the app requires access to the system pasteboard. This is used exclusively to recognize when you have copied a new item and to restore previous items when you use a shortcut.

Third Parties

We do not share data with third parties because we do not have any data to share. The app does not make any network requests, ensuring your environment remains private.
